First Baptist Church received its charter for Cub Scout Pack 625 in 1982.  Pastor Mike Hughes has been the Cubmaster since the Pack was established.  The pack was founded as an outreach to the youth and families of the community of Sunnyside.  The Boy Scouts of America has stood for the right things and their slogan "Character Counts" is worthy of support in the age of "anything goes."  Boys need family involvement and Cub Scouts seeks to enable that interaction.  Contact us if you would like your boy to be a part of the Cub Scouting program.
